One way that Aspen accomplishes this is by keeping itself a lean operation. In charge of this is Dawn Yeats, Controller, Finance. Dawn, who is not new to Aspen, was promoted to Controller in 2010. As head of the Finance Department located in Temecula, California, Dawn promotes Operational Customer Service among her team and strives to provide "Best in Class" solutions to customers and vendors in order to achieve long-term relationships. Dawn began working at Aspen in 2007 as a Finance Manager for CA and UT operations. Prior to Aspen, Dawn served in the U.S. Marine Corps. In the Corps, Dawn was a Marine first and an Avionics Technician second. After the service, Dawn worked in the banking industry, for private firms, and for a large corporation before eventually ending up at Aspen. Dawn enjoys an active lifestyle spending her free time outdoors at her home in Southern California with her husband and their two children. Aspen feels that they could not have selected a better person - Dawn's logistics acumen, experience, education, and driven business ethic is the right chemistry for Aspen.
